Dispatch Sixteen: June 25th, 2007

Day Sixteen: Base Camp; Preparation for the Carry to Camp I

Today, we once again woke up late and had a long breakfast. We spent the rest of the day refining our loads for the carry to Camp I. Badia and Mauricio’s High Altitude Porter, Ali, took one of their loads up to Camp I and returned eight hours later. The rest of the day was spent socializing.
