Day Forty-one: Manaslu BC; Lina Makes Carry to Camp II

This morning, as she had discussed with me yesterday, Lina made a carry to camp II directly today. Craving some exercise, but not enticed by desolate dirty Sama Gaon below, she decided to head directly to Camp II, drop off some gear, and head back down, as the weather was forecast to be very bad this afternoon. While she was away, I decided to organize my first aid kit. I had thrown it together a few minutes before leaving for the airport, and though I was sure it contained all the essentials, it was in desperate need of some organization. When this was done, and all the medications were noted, I was pleased to see Lina heading up the hill towards my tent. She told me that she had made it to Camp II and that my tent there was safe. After this, I headed to the kitchen tent where Panzerri and the cook were making dinner; Italian tortellini with a meat sauce. We ate dinner and chatted for some time before heading to bed.
